Synopsis: At a mental hospital, a man shrieks about the Challengers, Cobra Canyon, and the Devil’s Circus. The Challs fly to the remote canyon. A will-sapping ray drops the Challs. They’re prisoners of Dread, a gigantic Frankenstein-insectoid alien and he drops them into his Devil’s Circus, a giant ant farm. All escape, with Dread in pursuit. The Challs lead him into quicksand and then form a human chain to swing free. Dread sinks out of sight. Ace notes, “Ants sometimes band together to help each other!”
