Synopsis: Hera tasks Hercules with bringing her the Golden Girdle of Hippolyta of the Amazons. On his way, he finds a maiden chained to a stake by Hippolyta for her amusement. He saves her: Hippolyta is impressed and attempts to woo him. When he balks she traps both the maiden and Hercules. Hercules breaks out of his jail and rescues the maiden. They battle Hippolyta’s army but before he can fight the Queen, Hera orders him not to battle a woman. So the maiden knocks out Hippolyta with a rock. Hercules then takes her Golden Girdle to Hera. The maiden wants to thank Hercules but he continues his quest.
